Aaron and I watched a movie titled "Defending Your Life"
We gathered up our pajamas and headed over to the Herrmann's.
They are out of town, and I had left my car in Lehi.
On the way there, I caught a whiff of my husband. He was wearing his cologne.

I love how smells can conjure up the best memories. Like when he was working construction, and I would visit him in the evenings after work. He would be scrubbed down and he'd put cologne on just for me.

We would just sit next to eachother on his parents couch, watching a movie, waiting for our friends to leave so we could have a few moments alone, holding hands, talking about everything.

His mom knew I was the one, the moment she saw me, on the same night I had met her son. She was doing dishes or making cookies at midnight, and I needed some water or something silly like that. I barely knew the boy.

As soon as we got to his parents house, Aaron got out the oreos and milk and said to me,

"Don't you remember? This is how we fell in love. Over milk and cookies,"
We fell asleep on his parents sectional, the same place we had our first kiss, 90 degrees from one another, and we held hands.

I love nights like this.

What would you choose?

A night at the gym...

or

Chatting with my faves, Cassee and Adrianne,
Eating Chocolate,
Making dinner,
and catching up on my stories, like

The Secret Life of the American Teenager....

Seriously...

What would you choose?

A little memory....

I have to record this memory, because I'm sure one day it will fade.

On our wedding day, it seemed like the whole day was a rush. I spent most of the day away from Aaron, apart from our actual wedding.

But, there was one moment when we were able to rest, and eat. We were laying on our stomachs on the basement floor of his parents home, eating Jimmy John's sandwiches. He was in his tux and I was in my dress. All of a sudden it hit me. We are married. We smiled and ate our sandwiches silently.

I loved my wedding day.
